The Falcons Blogosphere!
Blogging is a great way to express yourself and share your ideas with others. Here are some guidelines to help you create engaging and informative blog posts:
- Intro to the WordPress Platform – Students create a website for a Zoo (minimum 4 pages) to acclimate themselves with the WordPress Dashboard and Web Design concepts.
- Student Portfolio Project: Here, students showcase collections of their work to demonstrate their progress, skills, and achievements. They have included reflections of projects, photography, video and creative works.

Tips for your posts…
- Create a Strong Headline: Your headline should accurately reflect your post’s content.
- Write Engaging Content!
- Hook Your Readers: Start with a strong introduction that grabs attention.
- Use Clear and Concise Language: Avoid slang, jargon and textisms.
- Use headings, subheadings, and bullet points to improve readability.
- Tell a Story: Personal stories make your blog posts more relatable.
- Add Visuals: Images, infographics, and videos can enhance your content.

Get Feedback: Ask a friend or classmate to review your work.
Ethical Blogging
- Use Original Content: Always create original content.
- Cite Your Sources: If you use someone else’s work, give them credit.
